- Account: Means a unique account created for you to access our Service or its parts.
- Application: Refers to the „Uwaga, śmieciarka jedzie”, application, a computer program provided by the Administrator.
- Country: Refers to Poland.
- Device: Means any device that enables access to the Service, such as a computer, mobile phone, or digital tablet.
- Personal Data: Refers to information about an identified or identifiable natural person. An identifiable person is one who can be directly or indirectly identified, especially based on an identifier such as a name, identification number, location data, online identifier, or one or more specific factors determining the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of a natural person;
- Processing of Personal Data: Refers to an operation or set of operations performed on personal data or sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation, or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination, or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction;
- Service: Refers to the Application.
- Service Provider: Means any natural or legal person who processes data on behalf of the Foundation. This includes companies or third parties employed by the Administrator to facilitate the provision of the Service, deliver the Service on behalf of the Foundation, perform services related to the Service, or assist the Foundation in analyzing how the Service is used.
- Third-Party Social Media Service: Refers to any website or social media platform through which a user can log in or create an account to use the Service.
- User Data: Refers to data collected automatically, generated by using the Service or the infrastructure of the Service itself (for example, the duration of a visit to the website).
- User: Refers to a natural person using the Application.

- Information from Third-Party Social Media Services
The Foundation enables you to create an account and log in to use the Service through the following Third-Party Social Media Services: Facebook and Apple ID. If you choose to register through or otherwise grant us access to a third-party social media service, we may collect personal data already associated with the third-party social media service account, such as your name, email address, profile picture, and profile name. By providing such information and personal data during registration or in another way, you grant the Administrator consent to use, share, and store them in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
- Information Collected During the Use of the Application
While using our Application, to provide the functionalities of our Application, we may collect, with your prior consent: Photos and other information from the camera and photo library of your device. We use this information to deliver the features of our Service, improve it, and customize it. This information may be transmitted to the servers of the company and/or service provider or may simply be stored on your device. You can enable or disable access to this information at any time through your device settings.
§ 4. Transfer of Data Outside the European Economic Area
- For the purposes of achieving the goals for which Users provide their data to the Administrator, the Administrator utilizes tools provided by international entities. Consequently, the Administrator transfers personal data to third countries outside the European Economic Area to the United States:
- ) To store data, we may use the cloud space within the Google Cloud Platform service provided by Google LLC, based in California, USA, in accordance with the privacy policy of Google LLC Google Privacy Policy. - ) To store data, we may use the cloud space within the Microsoft Azure Cloud service provided by Microsoft, based in Washington, USA, in accordance with the privacy policy Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- ) To conduct analyses of the Service’s operation, we use the Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics tools provided by Google LLC, based in California, USA, in accordance with the privacy policy of Google LLC Google Privacy Policy. - ) To provide users with our Service, we use the store within the Google Play Services provided by Google LLC, based in California, USA, in accordance with the privacy policy of Google LLC Google Privacy Policy. - ) To enable users to log in with a Facebook account, we use the Facebook service owned by Meta Platforms Inc., based in California, USA. - ) To enable users to log in with an Apple ID and access the purchase of the Service on iOS devices, we use the Apple Developer service, owned by Apple Inc., based in California, USA. Information about privacy standards: Apple Privacy Policies and Apple Store App Privacy.
- ) To maintain the usability of the Service, we use the OpenAI service for generating descriptions of uploaded photos, owned by OpenAI OpCo, LLC, based in California, USA. Information about privacy standards: OpenAI Privacy Policy.
- ) Additionally, to maintain the usability of the Service, we use the Vertex AI services provided by Google LLC, based in California, USA, in accordance with the privacy policy of Google LLC Google Privacy Policy. § 5. Use of Your Personal Data
The Administrator may use personal data for the following purposes:
- Providing and maintaining our Service, including monitoring the usage of our Service.
- Managing your account: Managing your registration as a user of the Service. The personal data you provide may give you access to various features of the Service available to you as a registered user.
- Contacting you electronically, such as via email or messenger, and other equivalent forms of electronic communication, such as push notifications in the mobile application regarding updates or informational communications related to functionalities, products, or services covered by the agreement, including security updates when necessary or justified for their introduction. Providing information about the Foundation „Uwaga, Śmieciarka Jedzie,” its activities, and actions and events it offers unless you have chosen to opt out of receiving such information.
- Handling and managing your requests to us.
- Using your information for other purposes such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our fundraising campaigns, and evaluating and improving our Service, products, services, marketing activities, and your experience.
We may disclose your personal data in the following situations:
- We may disclose your personal data to service providers for monitoring and analyzing the usage of our Service.
- We may disclose your information to our business partners to offer you specific products, services, or promotions.
§ 6. Cookies
Cookies are files containing a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. They are sent to your browser from the websites you visit and are stored in your device’s internal memory. This Service does not explicitly use these „cookies.” However, the application may use code and libraries from third-party websites that use „cookies” to collect information and improve their services. Our service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from individuals under the age of 13.
