WOW in NGOs

As part of the project we will carry out the following activities:

• Through microgrants
• or volunteers, we can fund a volunteer’s own local event that aligns with the Foundation’s mission (ideas are already being carried out!)
• Some volunteers will get the chance to meet in person for the first time at an integration and training Admin Meetup!
• We’ll provide backup professional psychological support for volunteers in crisis situations (yes, sometimes you want to quit this job…)
• We’ll prepare and organize educational guides for new volunteers.
• We’ll roll out a great peer-support program for admins, developed by students from the SWPS University service design program.
• We’ll be able to support volunteers with training in areas like communication, assertiveness, and more.
• Organizational matters will be handled by permanently employed Volunteer Coordinators, who will receive comprehensive training at the School of Good Volunteering. They’ll learn all the formalities around volunteering, substitutions, insurance, and so on.
