Zero Waste, a Million Stories

Thanks to the National Freedom Institute, the Attention, Garbage Truck is Coming! Foundation secured funding under the PROO 1a program to carry out the project “Zero Waste, a Million Stories”.
This project is a huge step toward growing the Foundation. We want to work even more efficiently, more professionally, and with greater reach, so we can carry out our mission of rescuing items and giving them a second life even more effectively.

As part of the project, we're carrying out four key activities:

Communication and Fundraising Strategy

Together with experts, we’re building a long-term plan for communication and fundraising. The document will identify the best tools, channels, and ways to attract donors and build lasting relationships with those who already support us. It’s a solid foundation for our PR and marketing efforts in the years ahead.

A New Website

We’re building a modern, clear, and accessible website that meets the WCAG 2.1 standard. It will make it easier to understand our mission, follow our current activities, and get in touch with us quickly. The site will also make it safe and convenient to support the Foundation, both financially and in other ways.

Research on the Impact of Our Work

We want to find out the real environmental impact of what we do. The research will let us calculate how much we’re reducing the carbon footprint by rescuing items from being thrown away and putting them back into circulation

The "Stories Straight Out of the Trash" Campaign

We’re preparing a social media campaign that will showcase remarkable stories about objects and people. These are stories full of different perspectives that prove cooperation and sharing have enormous value. The campaign will also be an invitation to support the Foundation.

Carrying out this project is a huge step toward greater stability and an even bigger impact on reducing waste in Poland.
