We Save 49,232 Tons of CO2 a Year

Our Environmental Impact: A Report
According to a report prepared by TerGO for the Foundation, the activities of members in the Attention, Garbage Truck is Coming! Facebook groups are estimated to save around 49,232 tons of CO2 emissions a year. That’s roughly equivalent to the annual CO2 absorbed by about 2 million trees.
These aren’t just numbers: behind every ton of CO2 saved is also a concrete change for the better: cleaner air, lower energy use, and more responsible consumption. This data shows that even small gestures, like swapping, repairing, or reusing, add up to a massive environmental effect.
Together we’re proving that grassroots action and sharing resources can have a real impact on the climate and become an effective tool for protecting the environment.
