Group Rules

The groups run by the Uwaga, Śmieciarka Jedzie Foundation serve to prevent waste. We work to avoid unnecessary disposal and support social responsibility for environmental protection. We create a space where people can reuse unwanted or discarded items. In the groups, we adhere to values such as anti-consumerism, responsibility, respect, and a positive attitude.

§ 1
General Rules

  1. Joining the group signifies acceptance and adherence to these rules.
  2. Individuals over 15 years of age may join the group.
  3. Posts may only concern free offers. We do not engage in or suggest buying, selling, or exchanging items publicly, in private messages, or in any other way.
  4. When collecting items from someone, we adhere to the agreement with the donor, e.g., delivering items to a shelter. It is not permitted to mislead the donor by suggesting the item is for personal use when the real intention is to sell or exchange it. To understand the rules regarding selling items from the group, read the RULES OF THE GROUP YOU BELONG TO.
  5. You may sell (outside of the group) items whose owner has unequivocally abandoned them by throwing them in the trash.
  6. The recipient of an item is responsible for determining if they need to pay any tax due to the transaction.
  7. Those giving items have the right to choose to whom they will give the item. Post response order is not binding.

§ 2
Posting Rules

  1. Posts may only concern information about unwanted items available for collection that the author can dispose of or that have been abandoned (discarded) in accordance with Article 180 of the Civil Code.

  3. Items for donation from home: the post should include a description, condition, photos, and approximate location.
  4. SEEKING ITEMS – Each group’s administration decides if items can be requested and under what conditions. Read the rules of the group you belong to.
  5. Any other posts may only be published by or with the consent of the group’s administration.

  1. Items for purchase, sale, or exchange.
  2. Coupons/stamps/stickers, etc., that provide discounts or gifts from a store.
  3. Items whose donation is regulated by law or violates Facebook community standards (e.g., alcohol, tobacco products, fireworks, weapons, medicines, drugs, illegal copies covered by copyright, animals, discriminatory materials, calls for violence, hate speech).
