Facebook Groups
Attention. Garbage Truck is Coming is a network of Facebook groups operating throughout Poland where you can give away items you no longer need – for free. You can also help save discarded items by posting photos of things left near garbage collection points, together with their location.
Check whether there is a group in your city, learn how to join it, and remember: a world without waste is possible!
How to join
Find your group
Look for your city on the map above.
If there isn’t a group in your town yet, scroll down.
Join
Send a request to join the group and answer the membership questions correctly. You’ll find the answers in the group rules – HERE.
Then wait until the volunteer administrators approve your request.
Post
That’s it!
Share a post about an item you’ve spotted at a garbage collection point or about something you’d like to give away, and enjoy helping save useful items from being discarded.
There isn't a group in your city?

Now worries!
Creating a local Facebook group in your city is neither difficult nor impossible.

Only if
At the moment, new groups are created only in cities with more than 10,000 inhabitants.
For a local group to work effectively, it should have at least 2,000 members, which is easier to achieve in larger communities.
